For referrers

Refer a patient.

You guide the recovery. We handle the foot.

Most of the people we see come to us from a physiotherapist or GP. We assess, prescribe and report back — then send them home to you to keep the rehab moving. Referring takes about a minute.

What to expect

What happens after you refer

We assess the foot and lower limb, prescribe where it is warranted, and send you the findings. Your treatment plan continues with you.

  • They come back to you

We treat what you referred for and return the patient to your care. Your rehab plan stays yours.

  • You get a report

Findings, what we prescribed and what we recommend for your sessions — written so it is useful to you, not a copy of the patient letter.

  • Talk to the podiatrist

If you want to discuss a case before or after referring, call and ask for the treating podiatrist directly.

Under one roof

Inside a multi-disciplinary centre

Harding Podiatry practises inside Narrabeen Sports & Exercise Medicine Centre, alongside sports physicians, orthopaedic specialists and physiotherapists. When your patient needs one of them, the referral happens down the corridor — not by letter, and not with a six-week wait.

  • Podiatry

Biomechanical assessment, orthotic therapy, bracing and lower limb rehabilitation.

  • Sports medicine

Sports physicians for diagnosis, injection therapy and load management.

  • Orthopaedics

Orthopaedic specialists when conservative management is not the answer.

  • Paediatrics

Specialist input for children, alongside our own paediatric podiatry and hypermobility work.

  • Neurosurgery

For lower limb symptoms with a spinal or neurological origin — drop foot being the one we see most.
